I could haul 9 NYC asian escorts comfortably in that car. If I went for 6 they could bring some luggage. Boy, would Clark Griswald be jealous! I love the internet.:rofl2::evilsmile:

But seriously to answer the question. The guy owes me some pics. It is 5 hours from me, and while everything sounds good, and the coupple distance shots I saw look good. 5 hours one way is a loooong way to drive to come home empty handed. I will be calling him today to see where my pics are.

This sounds like a great project. Give me a gearbox to row anyday, in any car.
Kenne Bell was always the Buick engine "go to" guy when I was contemplating building a Buick. I know the company is still around so try them for the t-cover.
I'll speculate that the pedals from a midsize GM will work for the swap.
Even is '73 smog trim the 455 Buick is a torque monster. Buicks don't like to rev so be careful of your gearbox/axle ratios.

I am not super keen on the styling, but its got everything I want even if it is too new and sort of plain. The interior is rough for the first two rows of seating but the 3rd seat is nice. Both fwd seats are split benches. Car has every optin except tilt and cruise. Big downer about cruise. I will Drive this car.

This could be my wagon, finally. The guy will be out of town this weekend so I am going to try for next weekend. Boy does this car need a set of wheels.
