YEAH! I am thinking that I need to find a wagon BODY that isnt rusted out and in pretty decent condition that I can build on and a shortbed truck or Jeep Grand Cherokee that is a rollover. Gonna whip that body off and see it for parts and the rest for scrap. I just need the wiring and maybe the dash. I REALLY dont want to replace all that fat expanse of fiberglass with welded in metal.

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for your friendship and aid on this! ITs gonna be UNREAL!
More details on this near future.

    I need a line drawing of a wagon !

Hate to say it, but unless you are looking at a BIG Jeep, forget that idea. They are unibodies. A Dodge Durango, though, makes a good donor platform. One of our members is doing that to a 1940s/50s Chrysler Town & Country. He has a thread about the project somewhere here.

Do you mean a Grand Wagoneer? If so they have a full frame. I know a guy in Arab, AL that has 70 full size Jeeps and might part with one. He kind of shares your same ideas. In my opinion a Grand Wagoneer would be a great platform for your needs with no change of the body needed.

Yes im a wagon fanatic, but i do accept the grand wagoneer. My uncle had/has one. I also hate the heat. I grew up in SW Missouri... Im in Chicago now and im LOVING the chilly temps. My wife and i have kept at least one window open the whole time. Doc, send me a PM with your email if you want and i will send you an email when i can get either my computer to internet or to one that has it.

Just to let you know DocZ I have your email and will send you a message when I can.

Oh and a Wagoneer is not a problem. Plenty of us here don't even have a vehicle of any kind and some don't have wagons.

It's a "Wagoneer", that "eer" on the end of the word means it's not a real wagon, just like a like a Mouseketeer isn't a real mouseket.:D
That woodgrain on the sides is just clever camouflage to make it appear to be a "real" station wagon.
They're built on a Jeep Pick-up frame and have a truck front end so technically one of the first... S...U...V's.:(

An angry massive crowd wielding torches, pitch forks, and scythes will drive you out of here if you get one of those things.

If you have guns to trade for it there's a nice Wagoneer on Racing Junk that has more Zombie clearance than that other one.:D
