It's a news report from Topeka and they interview you for a little bit and say your car was the one of highlights of the show.

Absolutely awesome. The only caveat here is there are state troopers and local cops out there who would love to ticket you for: front bumper too low to the ground too many white lights (many states limit you to four or six) facing forward I say, they can stick it somewhere. You did good. There's something to be said about having a passion for something, and I don't know what it is, but you've taken it to the top level and it's all good!

Glad you had some fun, UWantit. Great looking family truckster; actually I was pretty impressed with how well it did in that video. I would've thought body lean and fishtailing would've made it unworkable.

:agreed: 442. I just read this thread for the first time. I've been kicking cars around for over 50 years and, although this is not my thing, I am way impressed. The dedication, innovation and fabrication of this rig is admirable and first class. :tiphat: Tip of the hat to you, uwant. You could go to Hollywood and blow Barris out of the saddle. It is a perfect representative of what you started to do. Just the engine swap is no picnic....not sure why you wanted to do that but ... if you are doing the 14's in that tank with a single spin and stock gears....well....that answers the question. I don't know if you would want to go into the car fab biz, but, I'm sure you will get many requests. Just a super impressive build.:thumbs2:

Basically, although he didn't go to Hollywood, Eric's Family Truckster recreation did. He sold it to a company (HomeAway.com, an on-line vcation rental company) for quite a chunk of change to be featured in it's ads....the company uses the wagon now sort of as its 'mascot'....
