WOW what a shame. Gonna be hard to impossible to replace what is lost. Hopefully a hood can be found pretty easily.

Looks very nice to me. Not my color choice either but that's what makes this hobby fun. I could sure enjoy and drive it now that it is that color. Good luck on the hood. Several years ago we probably could have located one from a Studebaker collector in the next town. A death and selling the farm caused everything to be parted out. Remember GatorAid? The inventor and his son loved old Studeakers.

I know a guy who bought a Mary Kay pink 1949 Ford loaded with bondo!:banghead3:

Great looking wagon! Love the wheel choice. Glad you got it out when you did. Sorry to hear about the other losses. Good luck with your hood search!

WOW! I'm glad you got your car out. I did a 56 Studebaker President wagon in the 90's. Google that and you'll see pictures of mine, turquise and white.
There is a guy here in Tucson that has posted a roller for sale quite a few times, I doubt he'd sell the hood, but might sell the roller cheap enough.........you up for a road trip?
When I built mine, there was a row of Studebakers of all years at Hidden Valley Auto Parts in Maricopa, AZ........don't know if they are still there or not.
Let me know if I can help you in any way............
    Bill

Feels good to be almost done. Its been a rough 5 1/2 months working every night on this.
I drove it to work today! Yep, it was worth it!
