I don't even know what to say. I am so sorry. At least you made sure that the time she had here was well spent and not wasted. God bless you both.

Paul, as others have said, Words cannot express how you feel. Our words can't heal the pain you feel. I can only offer my sincere condolences, and know that you are in my prayers as well. You have been a strong man through this ordeal and provided your wife with love and caring as you vowed to do when you married her. That is the simplest, truest sign of devotion. This is a season of your life, and I trust you will find strength in you friends, family and faith to carry on. Good luck my friend.

[IMG] Brought tears to my eyes! It's times like these that show those little things we gripe about are so insignificant.
Life is short. life is fragile. Live life while you can. We get only one chance at it.

Paul, I can't even begin to understand your pain right now. Please understand that you, your family and your close friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

here is an old poem for you at this time.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

My condolences to you my wagoneer brother on your loss.
Thank you for sharing the video and very touching tribute to your soulmate.

I hope that on your next trip across the pond that you find the time to make it north of the border as canada has really close ties to the Netherlands.

    take care

Just read this, M prayers & sympathy to you Dutchy. Lost my wife in Feb., '09, so I know a little of what you're feeling. Hang in there, it never goes away, just gets a little easier to handle over time.
