Your car should have a headlight chime. I'm pretty sure my '91 does. Do you get a chime with the key in the ignition and the door open? Perhaps somebody disabled it.

The front passenger door lock is most likely the lock solenoid. Sometimes they get moisture in them and freeze up. Pretty common on these cars. Not sure on the tailgate lock.

The windows are the bushings in the motor. You need some of these:

To fix them you have to pull the window motor from the door and take the motor apart. Inside you'll find a gear, a bunch of grease, and a bunch of tiny crushed up pieces of those bushings. It's pretty easy to do them. I haven't done a rear door in a while, but I think they are easier than the front. You'll always be able to get the window up down with the manual power assist as you've found unless the motor itself goes bad.

WOW!!! You guys/gals are awesome! :) You have a wealth of information on here! These things will help me out greatly! I called to see about having the door locks done and they said they would have to see them, but could cost up to 250.00 each for the front passenger and then back tailgate area (sorry, I know it's probably not called a tailgate...lol...but the way way way back door to get into the 3rd row seating area :). I really would LOVE to do these things myself, so you guys/gals will be so valuable to me, I can tell already. Thank you so much!

I am going to try your suggestions on the windows with the spray lubricant :D I really want to put in the 3rd row seating, but with the back tail door not opening, I wonder if I could manage that? Hell, it's worth a try! :D

$250 per door for the lock solenoids is crazy. You should be able to buy new solenoids for around $80 I believe and replacing them isn't too bad. The worst part is figuring out how to get the interior door panels off, but with some patience they are pretty easy to do. Is the front passenger door difficult to lock/unlock with the key? That is usually the telltale sign that the solenoid is frozen up.

Don't be shocked if the lube on the window tracks doesn't do anything. Those bushings fail on almost all of the window motors given enough time. I've done the front windows on my car.

Does your odometer work? That is another common failure point on these. The odometer gear dries up and breaks apart.

Does the tailgate not open at all or can you just not get it unlocked?

    Hey everyone!!!

I was able to get the third row seating in!! :D Even without opening the tailgate :p Yes, it was a HUGE pain in the arse, but all the hardware was already on the seats...now, I just have to figure out how to put the seat belts in there...lol! Any thoughts? :) I have two sets of new belts. I know I still have to take pictures for you guys/gals, I don't have my camera. If I cannot figure it out, I will borrow my neighbors camera :)

a HUGE thank you to all of you :) A couple of you mentioned that if they came with the hardware, they should be fairly easy to get in there...well, you were right! It took me about 2 hours playing around with the one, trying to maneuver back there to get the bolt in the hole. Once I did the one seat, the second one was a breeze, using the same technique :)
