That's really fun to find a twin from another mother.

Not so much fun when you had something that was far from unique. When we had the 2003 Explorer XLT, in white, there were THOUSANDS of them out there. When driving around Orange County, it was unusual for a day to go by and NOT see an Explorer identical to ours, right down to the stock wheels we had.

But I bet you could do 90 in the left lane...

Probably could have, but 90 is a little fast for me. You tend to 'stick out' just by the nature of your speed. I keep it at 80 or below on the freeways and highways...... (And it wasn't a speed demon - only had the 4.0 V6 under the hood.... standard engine)

If you look like a state trooper people will always slow down and move over for you...
Unless they happen to be a state trooper.

I knew some Boy Scout leaders back in the 80's who wore their Smoky hats when traveling. One of them drove a non-descript, black Dodge at the time and they used to take a vacation every year out West.

Another trip to U. W. Medicine for Mrs. Orthmann and I. While she was in the appointment I went for a little adventure. While searching for the proper entrance for the Ballard Locks, I noticed this awesome building.

I figured I might as well snap a photo.

We took the Amtrak up to Seattle Aug. 5th to catch a ride on 'the LOVE BOAT'. Took an 8-day Alaskan cruise. Saw Juneau, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Ketchikan, and last stop was Victoria, but we didn't get off the boat - very short stop there. I'll start a thread later when I can figure out how to get the pics off my phone and onto the computer.........

I don't know if this is your problem, but on my phone, you have to switch the USB port 'on' for the computer to recognize it. Hopefully that might help.

Speaking of which, I have my itinerary for September: I'll fly up Wednesday the 13th, my graduation reunion is Friday and Saturday the 22nd and 23rd, and I'll fly out Wednesday the 27th. Look at your calendar, see what you have going, and PM me, see if we can make a meet 'n' greet.

Nice trip. Friends did a similar one a few years ago and talk about it often.

Another trip to U. W. Medicine for Mrs. OrthmannJ.
Another installment of travels of the Freestyle.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time wandering the campus over the past few years, especially during the plague since I was I wasn’t allowed to accompany her to any of her appointments. It’s actually quite a beautiful place with some amazing architecture.
So today as I waited for my lovely wife to finish her appointment I took the opportunity to take some photos.

Nothing too exciting. Just another day in the life of the Orthmanns and their four wheeled family members.

On our way home we stopped in North Bend and I snapped a photo of the Freestyle with Mt. Si in the background.
