Wrong time for a big block

I built my wagon with a 440 and auto trans. I expect about 10MPG so I also built a 30 gallon tank. At $3.72 I think I'll need an equity line of credit. I just finished building a A518 trans that has over drive. Maybe I can get to 12 or 13 MPG. I intend to fuel inject the engine... Maybe I can squeeze another one or two MPH from the beast. But after that, I have a vortec blower to put on it. I wonder if I can keep it above the 10 MPH that I currently have. Why the blower - I only have 450 ft-lbs of torque and I think I can get about 600 ft-lbs with the blower.

Or use fiberglass fenders and hood. That's one fine-riding car, but it sure is heavy too.

Prices are coming down. I'd rather drop a cheap camera than a good torque wrench. ;)

    got pictures?

I do have some pictures but I don't know how to attach them. The "insert image" seems to looking for a URL rather than a directory path. If someone can tell me how to insert picture from your hard drive I will gladly share a couple of engine pictures.

    Cheers,

    John

Hi John, Have a look here for what you need. I prefer adding to the gallery and then opening the gallery to my pictures and grabbing the BB* links.
It means that you'd have the page you want to post into, already open, AND the gallery picture in another window. If its on your hard drive, setup a directory that holds your car pics (the gallery doesn't remember, but our memories fail ;) if you're over 40), and upload via that paper clip icon's dialog page:

    Hi Rick,

When is the wheels and waves show. I just got my gauges and if I can install them, I would be able to drive the car up to SB - which would be a lot of fun.

Also, what type of file and what is the maximum size for adding pictures?

    Maybe this picture will work?

    John
