We could make a game of this: If your wagon is 10 years old or newer, you get 1 point for every mile you drive (model years 2013-2003)

11-20 years old, you get 1.2 points per mile (2002 - 1993 model years)

21-30 years old, you get 1.4 points per mile (1992 - 1983 model years)

31-40 years old, you get 1.6 points per mile (1982 - 1973 model years)

41-50 years old, you get 1.8 points per mile (1972 - 1963 model years)

51 -60 years old, you get 2 points per mile (1962 - 1953 model years)

61-70 years or older you get 2.5 points for every mile driven. (1952 - 1943)

Over 70 years or older, 3 points per mile driven. (1942 or older)

We could start January 1 and we all report our starting mileage. Then we drive the hell out of our wagons during 2013 and see where we end up at the end of the year. We could also have bonus points for long distance, drag racing, autocross, etc. Anyone interested? Prize = bragging rights and the respect of your forum family. Maybe Wagonmaster could give the winner a special "tag" on their user name like "Mileage Master" or some other clever indicator.

Spring summer and fall, I only drive it when I'm going out of town or when it's raining/cold/windy.
I ride a bike around town, and have a trailer to haul groceries or laundry to the Laundromat.

I usually park it during the winter, but may end up driving it this year, depending...

I think I've put about 8,000 miles on my car this year. :thumbs2:

Oooooh, finally a game I will surely win!
I have a '58 Ranch Wagon. I drive it everyday.... EVERYWHERE! It's the only car I have and I even had to scrape the ice off the windshield this morning.

And while the speedo doesn't work yet I can estimate that I probably put 5000 miles on it last year alone!

After 30+ years of hauling kids and groceries around (first as my grandparent's family hauler, then my parent's when I was a kid) and being my high school daily driver the Plymouth was retired to Good weather, family outing type trips. I have it insured as a driver for six months and then keep it in the garage during the winter. I did take it out about 3 weeks ago for a ride with the boy and his dog. Was a bright sunny Sunday afternoon when we left. It started snowing while we were in town. I can't remember the last time I drove that thing in the snow! Wipers work, but I think the last time I replaced them I was a Junior in high school! Spent an hour drying and cleaning it once I got it back in the garage. I probly put less than 500 miles a year on it, but like Dewey, I promised the old girl there will be no more bad weather driving for her. Just sunshine and warm days. The rest of the time she stays nice and snug in the garage.

I want to use my newly purchased wagon as much as possible. A nice 50 mile round trip to work will be in order, if not raining. I park in a gated, parking garage, so Ill grab a big end spot.

Also trying to use it for running around town as well. I have a list of items I want to address on my GTO, so I wont feel bad about not having it for cruises - the wagon is definitely a driver+++ (and it's COOL as the sticker says, installed by the previous owner on the rear window)

OK - wheels up counts as 100 miles for every foot traveled! That's cool!

Better get that speedo fixed.... I'll be giving you some competition. (I get the bonus points for a 50+ year old car too!)

Reads 2627 when I got gas the other day.
