You did not contact the group (ISWC) through their website. You contacted the Yahoo group who was only helping to promote the show and they gave you the info to contact me at the show. You also did not post that I had contacted you right after the show and explained what had happened.

We even had a couple who drove from Ontario with a 1980 Volare Premier Wagon, who barely spoke English, who has a great time and I don't believe that they even registered! The did register at the show.

Again, I am very sorry for what happened.

I didn't make any further posts as I was not going to start an online dispute. But since you have brought it up I will reply again on this.

Your internet guy did give me your phone number which I did call and left a message. You failed to mention that too.

It takes me 45+ minutes to drive to the Mass Pike when I'm in my modern daily driver pushing along like the rest of the people exceeding the speed limit. I don't drive my old cars like that. So my trip from west of the river takes longer than your estimated 30 minutes thank you.

By the time I noticed on my calendar that the show day was upon us, you must have already left home and headed to the event since you didn't answer your phone nor return the call.

So with no confirmation recieved and no cashed check, I'm not going to drive up and crash your event.

But apparently some did. Nice for them that they got to drive up for the event and park for free for the afternoon.

And I see now that you did finally cash my check after the event. So much for feeling bad that you dropped me through the cracks.

I always register for shows early so I don't have to worry about these kind of issues.

And as everbody can read above, I was not the person who wrote your event was "Poorly organized". I just replied that I did not attend and why.

"My internet guy" is not MY internet guy. He is the webmaster of the Yahoo site, who was just trying to publicize the event. You called my home # and I was not home. I called you as soon as I got home.

All checks were sent to the President of the ISWC prior to leaving for the show.

You were given contact info for me at the hotel which you did not use. Had you done that, this would not have happened. I had recieved several calls all week long from people with general questions of which I handled.

Many people showed up just to see the show. Another person said that he had sent his money, but we had not yet recieved it, so we let him in. The treasurer was going to see if his check showed up and if it didn't, he would contact him. We are not a difficult group to deal with.

I do not want to start a dispute. I just want to present my side of the story.
Again, I am sorry for the mixup.

I know of several spectators who came 40-60 miles away just to SEE the show.

I just reponded to the "poorly organized" comment in the post, but it was just a general comment and was not directed toward you. (Didn't you notice the quote that I posted??)
