I noticed a couple clear typos, one that sticks into mind is a blue Fairmont wagon called a LTD.

This Pinto wagon has an intersting custom front

That's where the newer Volvo design came from!?! :D

TBird will stomp on me for this, but even Ford's manuals call them LTD II, made within the Granada line after they dropped the Fairmont wagon in 1982. He says they're called LTD-LX. Either way, they are nicer and they've got the nicer 2-piece tailgate.

That was a kit that was available back in the day that tried to mimic the Pantera front end. Rare survivor. But then again, some would say any Pinto is. I dig 'em. I got a pic at another show of mine with a Pinto Squire in the background...it was the same Bronze Metallic as mine. Saw some pix of that car again in the Knotts pix.

Hal, I really like the seats in the Pintos. As close to real Ricarros without the price tag. And they go like stink too and sit flat on high-speed turns. Only drove two, but enjoyed it. Most cars don't evoke a response, but the Pinto was enjoyable.

The car you are referring to was called the Pinto Pangra. I don't think it was a kit, though. I seem to remember it being sold as a complete car from select Ford dealers, kind of like a Ford / Shelby relationship. The front end was put on only the coupe Pintos. Wagons wern't part of the deal, so the owner of the black one did it himself from parts.

Did Ford made a wagon for the Pinto?

They sure did! With and without woodgrain. Check in our gallery, there's a few pictures in there.
