I don't care if they ever do frankly. I will never buy a new car again!
With all the electronic stuff in cars today, not to mention the tracking chips, I would rather set my sights on vintage iron.

On a related note: I love Mustangs! My first was a '69 Coupe I bought in college for a $1200 bucks and it was only 12 years old!!!!
After that I had the bug bad and got into studying all the variations Ford had produced with the Mustang moniker including the pre-production show cars and the Shelby derived Cobras. Yes, I consider even the Mustang II to be a Mustang.
Doesn't mean I like them as much as the early models or even the Fox bodied Mustangs that make up the longest running line from '79 to '93!
But I still call it a Mustang, because it is.

Just because you don't like something does not deny what it is.
oh... you can use definitions like "full frame", "RWD", "sedan based" but the most logical and least biased is what segment of the market is buying the vehicle!
At some point you have to ask who is this machine being marketed to? Young families? Light commercial? Then: IT LOOKS LIKE A WAGON TO ME!

actually they killed the caprice first...rememeber...you have 1 of 498
they made the roadmasters until that december!

mark. i will argue the flex as there is not a sedan version (that would be ugly) there was however, a sedan version of the magnum ....the charger!

You make a good point about the Cappy. BTW, I was under the impression that there were only 465 Cappies in 96. Where did you get the 498 number?

:slap:Now I really need to know why/ or/ and/ what ?:biglaugh: Foxy started it by asking questions !:slap:
I'm thinking it might have something to do with a posterior body part.

I forgot the question and I'm not going back to look. I kind a thought it had something to do with limited production numbers. :disagree: There is no such thing as a simple question.
Only simple people asking questions. :rofl2:

I'm referring to the fact that it shares underpinnings with the Taurus, as I understand it, not that it has a direct sedan version...
Sorry, I should have been more specific.

... wasn't just pulling facts from my honchas ... ;)

Just think foxy, we are old enough that we should know every body part, had most of them repaired, or removed, and have worked on houses and cars, yet have no idea what a honchas is. :slap:
What ever it is, several members seem to keep important information hidden away in them. :(
