Dissapointed in Dallas. Yesterday somewhat sucked.... I'm wagonless today.

Sorry to hear Mike but I am with Tedy on this one. It's only a matter of time before you come across another one, you seem to have a nice choice of wagons where you are at and the way you fix and polish them you will have one that looks like new in no time!

If it was meant to be, it would have happened.

Just roll with it...I think you've got a stand-up seller who has learned that his friend isn't as good at transmissions as he thought.

Look on the bright side; you get to go shopping again! WOO HOO!

Mike - watching a non-food challenged person sob and bawl at the end of ones driveway can be very disturbing for some people. It causes them to get in to their new-to-them OCC and lock the doors, turn on the stereo, and go into ignore mode for hours on end. When it gets too hot they turn on the A/C knowing that aforementioned N-F-C individual is sweltering out in the hot Texas sun

Your time will come. Sad that it turned out this way but I suspect the seller realized that he's going to have to put more bucks in to the wagon and will end up losing money by doing the agreed to deal with you. I'm not surprised, it is a nice wagon and with the trans done up correctly he will get more for it and recoup more on his investment. You could call him back and buy it as is, now, tow it to the fellow you mentioned and get it done right - just an option........

But regardless, you will find the right one for you. Waiting is the hardest part, particularly this time of year, but it is not like you don't have enough projects calling for your attention.

And out of curiosity, who is that fat guy you were mentioning? Is he on this forum? Will he be offended that you and I are talking about him?

Yup - he gets to do it again. One of my favorite activities is to shop for a new vehicle. We'll help him hunt down another RMW....

It's a sign from above that it was just not the wagon for you.
Yours is out there so let the hunt begin, besides the best part is the hunting!!

I like that one myself. Low miles (if it's true and not TMU), no wood is a plus for me but may be a minus for Mike here, and it's a '94 so LT1 power.

It's posted on a Facebook page from awhile back. I think this is from a dealer postcard, 1993 if I'm not mistaken.

No wood is a plus for me too. Wonder why this hasn't sold? 56K? Less than 3K?
I love my 94 wood delete. I really may need to look at this. I've got the identical interior with the darker blue.

No word from Mike for a while. Hope he's doing okay and is just taking some deep breaths before running the gauntlet once again. Then again, he may have gone back and bought the wagon and is having a trans installed by a real shop.

Hey, Mike, what's happening? We miss you!
