My wife's Mexican, and other than 'gringo' and 'no' :rofl2:, couldn't speak a word of English when I met her in Vancouver, Canada.

In French, 'non' isn't always 'no'. In Spanish and English, there's no doubt about it.

If it wasn't for my French, I wouldn't have been able to pronounce my proposal to her. Only took me 3 months to learn to write and read it, and now, I can argue with her fluently in English or Spanish, sometimes better than she can in Spanish. :rofl2:
