    Hey.....I think I just stumbled on a conspiracy.

    You know how we were all blaming the destruction derbys of the 60's - 80's for our shortage of good old station wagon stock?

    WE'VE BEEN HAD! When we wern't looking, they made fake copies for the derbys and sent the REAL ONES over to Europe!!!!

    -- That's the only way to explain it.

    confusions say---

    I always understood that because of the more open construction and lack of the sturdy construction of a trunk,the back ends of stationwagons were "squishy"..If so,why are they so popular among the demo-derbiers? Just a way to get rid of them?,,I liked those "roll-over contests" from a few years back!They used a lot of foreign hatchbacks,(y)
