    I went ahead and bought an HO scale Mack tractor and close-matching trailer to do exactly that gas tanker.

    One of a number of “Chevy Show” tractor-trailers were built by Chevrolet Creative Services; in the 1960s above. And below a 1957 a “Featurama” tour rig in 1957. Both brought the latest Chevrolet news, features and and accessories directly to the customers at local dealerships.

    That dual-steer Cracker box was truly a weird setup. I know dual-steer trucks abound in Europe, but it just never caught on here in America.
