. Near where I live is a surviving REO SPEEDWAGON truck ... it belongs to an army surplus dealer from the 1940's and the place is still operated today by his son who is a friend of mine .... but said he will never sell the old REO because it was his dad's personal work truck and a family heirloom . Next to it is a 1950 Plymouth businessman coupe that belonged to me in 1973 ... I had 3 of them at one time .... sadly this one has deteriorated ... when I sold it , it was a running and driving car.. Next to the coupe is an antique horse drawn water wagon from the steam engine days . Lots of neat old stuff in that place. .
. To the right of the REO is another larger horse drawn water wagon used to bring water to the old steam engines and thrasher crews. Really cool up close ... all riveted construction similar to how they made boilers back then ... also has a metal bench seat molded into the front of the tank for the teamster to sit on . .
. Another picture showing the back of the REO truck .... and you can see the seat on the front of the water wagon .... the Anheuser-Busch company wanted to buy it and restore for their Clydesdale Horse parades but the owner quoted a high price and they declined Plenty of old stuff around that place .... and I love old stuff .... !!!!! .
