Oh, I was hoping to. Was down with strep throat, then Jury duty. Got my hand's full with other stuff, namely my wife's car needs a radiator, which I'll be working on this weekend. You have to remove the entire front fascia for that. It's always something....
What car does she have? Some cars, even if the factory says do it this way, may have a workaround so you don't have to do that. Unless it's a car whose name starts with the letter 'A.' I can think of two.
It's an '07 Chrysler 300. I've been reading up on the forums, and checking out the write-ups, and they all say it's the only way to do it.
If it makes you feel any better you have to remove (or at least loosen half of) the front fascia on a Jeep Patriot to even reach the radiator petcock. Brilliant design.
That looks nice Always fun to see folks getting into the spirit of the season. I have actually been wanting to stage our family Christmas photo with my wagon and a tree on the roof. The problem I always run into is by this time of the year, the Fury is so packed in it would be a huge undertaking to get it out just for a picture.
That's a good idea...you'll have to plan to take the pictures earlier in the year before you tuck it away.
I can see it now: middle of August, Fury wagon with a decorated and lit Christmas tree on it, kids dressed as elves and/or reindeer, Mom and Dad are Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and the neighbors all staring at them; one says, "Christ. Totally bonker family. There go the neighborhood house values."
Yep. That sounds about right. You forgot to mention the fact that we will all be sweating like crazy since mid August round here it's still in the upper 90's low 100's.
Oh, I meant to, must've slipped my mind. Also, the twenty or so pounds of confectioner's sugar to stand in for snow!
