I just can't find a 2-tone that we like so a new look with single colour it will be, and the chrome will be gone, the pic of the door with no wood sealed the deal for me and my honey........

But I guess I didn't low ball enough on the wheels:slap:, Seller took my offer. I just got home from getting.....................................

Now to paint as car, or powder coat in a gun metal?.........I'm thinking powder coat.

Oh yeah, we have known the wagon for years before our friend "Suzie" gave it to us.

The day I drove it home, witch in a weird way was my parents wedding anniversary.............

The weather hasn't really been cooperating so I'm gona drag the Cougar out, clean out the bay where it has slept since 2000 and tow it to my barn for hibernation ..... for another 14 years I guess:hide:, I may even try to sell it:huh:. That will give me a inside space to start prepping the Buick for paint and then some where all ways dry to start on the Beateor. I still have hords of Toyota 22RE parts, complete engine with 5spd, new suspension parts, body parts, glass.......... and we sold all 3 Celicas we had as a package deal years ago, a V6 Buick od-fire with a 2spd auto, and a lot more. crap! Oh the hording madness:banghead3:! So I'll see if anything sells, I'll list the stuff for a week starting next Saturday morning and if not off to the scrapper!

I did buy today 2 un opened rolls of window tint from Used Victoria for $20 so that will go on the Buick.

I also emailed this seller but have not heard back, The Buick had the A/C removed prior to when Suzie who gave us the car bout it so if this Olds has it and complete that would be great! I'll see if I can haggle on the price but if not it still mite just be worth it, I have big rock chip in my windshield and my insurance deductible is $200, also so Id prefer to swap that before paint not to mention many other misc parts that could be needed/swapped down the road. I'll bring it straight to my barn if this turns out, I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

That Olds in an 84, and so very uncommon. Only the 84 Ninety Eight had that front side marker that was all amber, and they were only made for half of the year. The downsized, front wheel drive 85s were an early introduction model in the spring of 84. Looks like the car is in pretty good shape, too, aside from that quarter.
