Nah, the T-roof is a no-no. Way to much work and without extra sub-frames, I don't think the wagon would last long.

The lights are really tempting though. Mainly because the wagon taillight lenses are getting rarer. I've got a good spare set, but the Mustang Capri lenses will be around for a decade or more.

Yes folks, that Granada is a pile. I just posted it because they'r are rare, and we have a few here who are interested in them.

Now...back to the subject at hand:
About those Mustang / Capri tail lamps....

You would have to figure out a way to 'split' them so that the ends stay on the quarter and the inner part gets attached to the gate. You would basically have to 'remanufacture' them, doing a lot of plastic cutting, plastic welding, etc. Lot of work involved, put you've never been afraid of that.......

I was thinking of something like that. I got a pair of the rear, red sedan side reflectors, from the donor fairmont in 2006, so I could modify the rear lighting a lot and stay legal. The split at the tailgate could be an issue. Next time I go, I'll have a better look. He's got 6 or 7 different Mustangs and Capris to pick from.
