That's a generous offer for a down payment. I'll expect the $23500 when you pick it up.Bring a trailer. It hasn't been driven in several years.

$1500 is me doing you a favor, you just said it hasn't been driven in years.
Tell you what, if it helps, $1750 is the best I can do.

    That sounds like a very fair offer. But I don't have a 55 Nomad.:slap:

I wrote further above offers don't offend me. But keep this up and I'm gonna be p*@^ed.:rofl2:
Still bring the $23500 when you pick it up. The extra $250 will help settle my nerves.
The next lowball offer and I will want $24500 plus whatever you offer. You're not dealing with a flipper here!:naughty:
I love my old Ford so there is sentimental value that money can't buy. Besides I saw one on a TV auction for $197,436 in worse shape.

There's no blue book value on sentiment.
    $2150.

    There should be! :1st:
In reality most older vehicles have sentimental value to the owners. Often it reminds them of their younger days or when they were born. I was born in 1939 and I've always liked the looks of those old Fords.
I haven't really used mine for some 35-40 years but hung onto it just for the sentimental value. The more I think about it the more it's worth to me.
I gave it to my older son but he seemed to loose interest after he deided his late model car needs to be in the garage and an old car is too much work.
Some guys are not "car guys."
PS Our youngest son is now phone dating a gal in Cary.
