Just a few pictures today, spent most of the day at the Swap Meet in Biloxi, Mississippi. Didn't buy anything, everything seemed over priced this year, even at the vendors that sell new parts. I need a reverse light lens for my Chevelle, found them on line for $100 a pair, at the swap meet I was told $89 each and they only come in pairs. I figured $89 for the 2 was fine. When I was told $178 I asked why price individually if you can't buy individually...Needless to say I will be getting them elsewhere and not from that supplier of Chevelle parts.
Anyhow, here are a few pictures from today.
First one is a picture of my dad with Joe and Amanda Martin from the TV show Iron Resurrection, one of my dad's favorite shows!

 

Just seen this one driving through the hotel lot. Brings back memories of my childhood, Friday nights at 7 pm I was in front of the TV to watch the Dukes of Hazzard!

 

Thanks for all the pics! I know it takes a while to upload all that. Ya know, that’s a lot of nice cars. But honestly. If I were to pick my fav. It would be that 71’ Chevelle. The round taillights are where it’s at. My love for cars can be traced to a single moment in my childhood. A Blue one with white racing stripes will forever be branded in my mind.

Yes, a '41. The owner parked a few cars down from me. He is a customer of mine, I just sold him some trailer tires about 3 weeks ago and sold him 2 tires for his work Truck couple months ago. We didn't realize until he seen me looking at his car and I get the "Hey, tireman!" Now you know where the screen name comes from! LOL

 

Looks like a fantastic event. I'll have to add it to the list of things I'd like to do someday.

It's a great event, 8,444 registered cars from 49 states, Germany and Australia! Probably another 1,000 to 1,500 cars not registered for event but just cruising Hwy 90. Overwhelming at times and even though it is October, you will find out if your cooling system is up to par in the 90+ degree temperature.
