Spooky... this is all I have to say about your Mercury...

I'm a Mercury Wagon addict and a Hearse addict! Saw a 1980 like yours for sale a couple years ago. Call the guy selling it and he was really rude about it. He wanted way too much but acted like he just wanted to get rid of it and like it was a bother. Sad really. When my wife and I are able to get another wagon, if we don't get another Fox body Marquis wagon, then a Grand Marquis wagon,(or hearse/1st call :162: ) will be what we look for. Do you know who the conversion company was?

    '91 Colony Park Hearse

Spooky is in storage for the winter. I'll be there tomorrow evening. There is a sticker on the windshield and I believe it says "Top Hat Conversions". I will check it again and let you know for sure. Glad you like her. Just bought a '94 Cadillac high top hearse with 36,XXX miles "Miller Metro". I won't have it here till sometime in April. I like Hearses a lot too!

The one similar to this that I have seen was an 89 Country Squire, minus the Country Squire part. LOL If that sounds odd, it is because it was a Crown Victoria wagon, minus wood, but with the full on interior of the Country Squire LS, including the exterior trim of the Crown Vic. Loaded to the teeth, and even had the 351W under the hood. Supposedly, it was bought new for the Coroner somewhere in Pennsylvania. She was a beauty. No pictures, as this was before I had a cell phone with a camera. It was a picture car in a show I was working. I was asked to start it regularly through the night, as it was hard to start cold. LOL They didn't know about carburetors! I pumped the gas, and away it went like a champ.
