Yes, this one has the automatic climate control. That alone would be enough to turn me off the car. I will NEVER have another car with an automatic system. Been there, done that, and never yet has one of them worked properly. On these the only way to get GOOD heat in the winter is to pull the vacuum line off the temperature actuator, and then you have nothing but full heat, all the time. In the summer, even a minor vacuum leak means that at full throttle you suddenly have heat coming out of the a/c. No thanks. I am capable of adjusting the temperature to suit myself.

    say what?!?!?

Used to think only Cadillacs had the "thermostat" you could set. Had a father-in-law who had a mid-60's Fleetwood Brougham Sedan DeVille that had that. It made him very proud. Believe it was one of the things that went wrong with that car, in fairly quick succession. The turn indicator stick stopped locking into place. Putting the positive spin on it, he started tapping out Morse Code when he needed to turn or change lanes. :yup:

My 78 Buick Electra had automatic climate control. When the system went, a new control box was way more than the value of the car, so I Jerry rigged everything using choke cables. Not pretty but it worked. The auto system was certainly available by the early 70s from all 3 of the big three. I've hated it on every car I've had it on. To me, it is now a deal breaker. I simply will not have it on anything!
