That interior looks exceptionally nice! Most late 1970s GM products from that era have aged very badly! Your Impala must have been very nicely kept and garaged, too! (y)

it is nice but pretty new compared to the big 70's stuff that I like, if you are looking for a 79 impala this is the car. Just not enough curb appeal for me.

now that I have it in great shape I will post on ebay to get my $ out of it to put into another project. let's see how much I can loose on this one :)

If you are selling, why not put it on the forum first? :)

Looks like a jewel of an Impala wagon. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

That's a really great paint color! I like it! Much better than the typical washed-out colors today.

That would be Camel Metallic paint with the Camel interior, per the 1979 Chevy brochure.

    Hello Spiceman,

If you can find a set of these spoked optional factory Chevy sport wheel covers (No. 15), I think they add a lot to curb appeal! They look really good with this design. Just a suggestion. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

    Regards,
    John

I agree those caps look nice, I am most likely already going to take a bath on this one so need to stop myself at this point. My end game will be to have my 77 ford country squire put in show condition and I fully intend to be upside down in that one but I plan to keep it for a long long time. The bigger old wagons with the wood paneling seem to be pretty rare on the roads today and I look forward to turning heads with that wagon.
