Maybe the owner who I believe is a forum member decided to keep it. Going to be really tough to replace that car in that condition down the road. Also it’s a pretty expensive wagon for someone overseas to buy and then add another ~5K to ship it in a container. That’s my guess he decided to keep it.

Until I see evidence of sale I have to go with sinc76 and say car was kept by owner.

The owner would be wise to keep it.

Wherever it is now, this Buick would be extremely difficult to duplicate now at any price, as to high options and condition.

That’s a wonderful point jwdtenn. I have a good friend that’s a car restorationist. He always encourages people to find the best example of the car you want, and just pay the price. If there’s a person out there that needed the last year Buick Clamshell. You really couldn’t strip that one, repaint, and re paper it for too much under $25,000. Then engine and interior? With all in you’d be well over $25k. The problem is that car was probably worth 25 to the person that wanted a particular Buick like that. The guy with the ‘Buick that’s a $h!+ hole thinks his should bring same money cause it’s got a 9 year old repaint, and kinda the original type wood too, and only slight surface rust. Oh well. Nuff of my Halloween rant.
