Dash pad is roached, front seat is roached. Plastics are faded and need redone and if you do one you know damn well ya gotta do em ALL. I don't care about interior hell I put a 71 poncho wagon interior in a 74 olds DASH and all with gauges and headliner. still know guys derbying them that would love to save the time and work of gutting it. It's a shat ton of work to do all that AND all that body work to boot. especially when your really don't know just how much there will be till ya start it. Reall have NO Idea what's under that back seat either

Full power options, 3 tears in a driver side seat and a few dash cracks makes it roached out???? Tough crowd in here anymore.

Well I see you with scads of cars you buy DONE! I don't see you doing that work to make them nice yourself. Like I said Interior isn't a big deal but with that and unknown body work(and you know it NEEDS it) Yea it's roached. Your looking at 5-8000 investment to make it "Decent" More if you want it nice. Personally I don't give a hoot about power options either. I don't look at every one for "resale value" like you do. I look at it as Is this worth it for ME to drive.

I have tons of experience in doing nut and bolt restorations. I have done Camaro's, Chevelles, Trans Ams, Trucks, and tons of other cars. So don't paint me with you single brush stroke. And you have to look at the options as that dictates the value of something. I understand you don't want power options, and you want a rust free shell so you can install your own interior in it. BUT, you yourself wanted $3,500 for a stripped out shell for a demo car. So yes, this car has some issues but it runs and drives is presentable as a driver as it sits and can be used right now. So yes, it's priced accurately. And your correct, I have bought and sold ALOT of these cars so I know what the market is on these cars.

Probably a $3500-$4000 wagon! That's the most I would pay anyway!

My 3500 starting price was not for a ROT BOX and in fact would most likely rip this in half. You watch these cars and wait till the dudes are hard up for cash and dump em, You scoop that bad boy up and make a nice profit on every one. I don't diss on that that's cool. But don't tell me doing a WAGON like this is ANYTHING like a Camaro, firechicken, chevelle OR truck. Been there done em, and its a shat ton more work. I asked 5000 for mine BEFORE the drunken asswipe hit it and people acted like I was out of my frikken mind? BULLSHAT! It was WAY better than this rust wise (mild surface)! AND had a rebuilt 455 71 poncho in it to boot! Options do NOT outweigh ROT! Sides probably doesn't have an AC belt on it either!

jwdtenn ALL Chevy's will bring a higher dollar. Even when rusty. They are more desired simply because they are STRONGER Than the other GM wagons in the derby department. so they price/sell accordingly. And the deal on that poncho still to this day Pizzes me off!!!

No offense, but your wagon needed repainted, and not a very desirable car. For a derby car it was perfect. $3,500 for a "rust" free shell is crazy. This car has interior with minor blemishes.

SAY'S YE WHO SOLD ONE LAST YEAR FOR What was that?????? $3500!(FOR THE DERBY!)
Who theee FACK do you think you are? Oh YOUR car is worth more than MINE simply because the great SWANNY454 owns it? It's "ok" for YOU to sell one for 3500 but if I do it it's "crazy"? WOW Your a real piece of work dude.

Actually the price on mine (needing repainted or not) included the 71 455 poncho. Lemmie know how "Cheap" that rebuild your doin is!

Surface rust is a much diff story than hunks of rot held in buy already "repainted" paint. Must be one of your buds!

Maybe dial down the volume? We all like wagons, right? And some of us, especially GM 1970s clam wagons?
