    Yeah. It’s sad I remember in Chicago as a kid those things started rusting out in year 2-3 around the fender walls. That double wall construction although good on paper was a real dirt and salt trapper.

    We lived in Minnesota for a few years when I was real young. Same thing happened there.
    My Dad said the they always referred to the GM trucks of this vintage as rust buckets because they rusted out so quickly.
