Tell ya what Fox, as soon as I get it all uncovered and the place cleaned up I'll snap some pics....it's in a zillion pieces but is rust free.... you'll love the floors and trunk She's just a plain jane though, only option was power drum brakes, stearing and AM radio. I have spindeles for disc and a 28 splne 9" posi for the rear.
Your front yard is enouph....sheeze, it was years ago when I drove by, I can sill bite my ear, as my head snapped back so fast to look and drool!
It seems I can't make it to the shop without buying a vehicle... you have probably seen the truck, but get a load of this Buick with 400 miles on a fresh rebuild.
My project is my 1979 Chevy vandura Redykamp. I have gutted out the entire interior and have rhino lined it from stem to stern, built a custom bed frame to hold a full queen sized mattress and built a new stand for the toilet. It had all the goodies, stove, sink, fridge, fold out bed/dinnete. My wife and I found that all we really needed for camping was a bed, fridge, toilet and of course a good heater. I will try to get some pics up of this as it progesses. The van can be seen in the background of this picture of my big green beasty.
And I still love that big green beasty! AND....I don't even like low riders. Except, I like this one....especially when it's not way low down...just a little low down.
Thanks Silverfox! She is a classic beauty in my eyes. I almost had my buddy airbrush some wood and chrome on her, but in the end I felt a solid suited her much better. Thanks for your kind words.
Refurbishing and adapting organ console for a virtual pipe organ. http://www.organforum.com/forums/showthread.php?25670-Project-Praeludium-begins mike
It plays now both with internal voices and connected to my laptop running jOrgan but pedal board has some issues (clunks) and expression shoes (clutch and throttle pedals ) need to have midi added as only manuals and pedal keyboards come with midi. Capture piston (presets) memory also does not hold when organ is turned off. Also need to add input devices for virtual organ in the form of Novation Launchpads or touch screens. mike
Here is my current project. Purchased it about 3 weeks ago: I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this one. I think I would prefer a pickup bed. I need to re-wire the entire truck and install a real interior, along with some good-looking analog gauges and painted steel (or maybe wire) wheels. It's going to be a fun project. My 68 GTO: Before: After: Another recent project... I found this one on eBay. It was in California; needed a LOT of TLC. Cleaned it up, did suspension, electrical and interior work. Still needed paint when I sold it about a year ago:
My current projects: 82 Z28 (Father-Son-Grandson project) '89 K5 Blazer (Father Son project) And my '67 GTO is still sitting in the garage, waiting for me to start working on it. Makes a great Halloween decoration...scares the kids. -Mike
