So I looked back. I paid $60 for that thing. Still high, and they didn’t have just the actual thermostat. It was all or nothing.

What's just the thermostat inside look like? It can't look much different than an ordinary one

Far as I can tell it looks like a normal thermostat inside. I’ll open it up for s’s and g’s. I gotta finish the car quick because the wife been driving my car and now she’s got an emergency with her mom and needs to drive to Georgia. I still gotta put on the tires, and change out brake fluid...(anyone heard of doing this? Dam car has a maintenance light calling for it) and do plugs and coils

I don't think that changing the fluid will put out the light. It used to be that only the dealer could do it. They've got some gadget that plugs into that inspection socket under the dash. Just put a piece of tape over the light, for now

I can reset it, like a change oil notification. I’m just trying to do everything by the book for my wife who isn’t very savvy, even the idiot lights don’t work for her, right before her Toyota blew up she said she noticed the “gravy boat” light. That’s the oil light...:nailbiting: But...If she had her shit any more together she wouldn’t be with me so I’ll take what I can get.

Someone should print owners manuals nicknamed accordingly. Like say, the temperature warning light, for example
:bigsmile: You still have time to edit your comment to read, "warning lights", before she gets a chance to read your post
Yeah, kids make pretty effective marriage anchors :D

I got them the radio chief wagon when they were littler. I think I’ve exposed them to enough tetanus in their young lives

Now that's some yard art, if not tetanus-laced sandbox art
