Will a 76 Torino Hood fit a 76 Country Squire?

    If you're able to find a really basic Custom 500 or Galaxie 500, check out the trim and grille and headlight bezels. They may be plastic, and lighter than the ones you have. I also imagine switching to a non-covered headlight system would also save weight. All you'd need is a header panel and trim and such from a more basic model Ford.

    What are your engine plans to make 475hp? If you're using a big block, don't. Instead use a 351W and a 5-6psi turbocharger. You'll make the same power without the extra 150-200lbs of weight. This also gets you a small block bellhousing which will use a lighter C4 transmission, for example. Then see if you can get lucky and use a CVPI aluminum driveshaft lengthened or shortened to fit.
