It was on ebay and went for a ton of money. Unfortunately, I don't remember how much. Wish I could.

43,000 miles on it! looked like new! Worth a ton of money.

 

Safari57 it's only money and you may never find that junk again in the shape it is in. I learned the hard way, if it seems like a fair deal buy it because if you wait someone else will grab it before you get back.

 

Yeah Saf, I'm having a hard time with your buyers remorse. You won the lottery IMO You found for your 57 Phonco.....I can't find things for 80's Buicks on this wet coast....

 

He's happy Tedy. Just wants us to feel sorry for him for spending a few dollars out of his piggy bank. It's not like he could have driven down to the discount auto store and picked that junk up. Probably the last good stuff left in the whole world and he's whinnin like a puppy!
You notice he's not on here. He's out in the garage playin with his new toys and giggling.

Well, I admit it, I was a bad person today

I got distracted with the new goodies and did not R&R the carb like I was supposed to. I guess I'll be doing penance tomorrow. I'm losing my patience with this Edelbroke carb. I may have to pull a Holley off the wall, or maybe a Quadrajet, and that way I can use the wagon while I go through the Edelbroke.

And heck, I may just end up doing the swap of the summer mags on the Blazer, the Ralley wheels on the Chevelle, and two or three illegal (according to the DW) coca cola's (too much sugar she says????) and "someone" gets too hyper? Moi? NOOOOOOO

Heck, she didn't notice that I managed to snag a couple of pops today (I don't think she noticed , or she didn't say anything - that would be a surprise). I think she thinks I'm just hyped because of the bumper caps............and I am.

 

I helped Normy swap the outer tie rods on his wagon today.
Unfortunately we found a bent inner tie rod.

 

What?!? Normy is doing CAR work and still not showing up here???

 

If Normy got on here to catch up he'd never get any car work done...........he's so far behind on catching up he's almost going to be a new member again

 

58 Tiki Wagon

Continued work this weekend on the '58...

Made my center console (cut up a vintage water ski). Will add cup holders and who knows what else to it later. Added my hula girls.. and did a little painting on the tail gate. Once all the graphics are done I'll clear coat the car.
