Well, nothing new as I posted before but here are a few daylite shots of the 83 with the new shoes donated from the 82. I will say though, this wagon will never sit outside again for a winter. I've busted my b**** to keep my wagons clean and dry but the paint and the wood have become so fragile now, this ones gona garage live bfore the summer is over. I can't bare the thought of repaint and wood, I really like the origonal patina the old girl is showing.

Went on a couple drives around the countryside this weekend with the GF. Ended up down by the river.

Been hauling parts for other projects lately.
This load consisted of 5 Rally wheels and an Endura front bumper for my 68 GTO.
This was on the way back from the sandblaster:

So changed out ingition tumbler, next is the door locks got to get it ready for the car show on sat. Finnaly got the previous owners problems on the run not much left.

Oh man, I was such a slack butt today. After going to the vet and being poked and prodded on the trip home I told my wife I was determined to get out to the shop and get more done on fixing her Blazer. Then I thought maybe I should have a little nap with my vintage cat and darned if I ummmm well forgot to get up before dinner and then it was too late and I was too full, and sleepy.

Oh man, I'm so unmotivated at the moment - I think I need a bowl of ice cream and peaches, yeah, that will get my car energy back.:banghead3:

Holey crap Saf. Did we go to the same vet? That's sort of what I did after we stopped and ate a late lunch. Except for the cat part!

Egads, we too stopped for a late lunch on the way home. And the cat was just looking so comforable on the bed when we got home and he was using my pillow the little turd, so we shared it.

Tomorrow. Yeah, tomorrow, I'll get at the stuff in the shop. First thing, right after breakfast. Yep, for sure. I can already feel the energy flowing. Good peaches and icecream:D

    More baby steps.

Hubby's been trying to get a bit more done. He picked up new emergency cables so he's getting them put back on...

Geez Fannie, I had not realized that your hubby robbed the cradle.

Good to see a man hard at work on his station wagon. Like I should be......

I've got most of the right side and rear done now.. a few pickups left to do, then onto the top. Hoping to have it ready to paint by end of month.

Had to try on some of the chrome bits just to see what it will look like.

I got my "sail-away" panels repainted, along with a rear bumper cover. Also got the black rubber inserts on the right rear door and the tailgate, along with a corner molding below the right taillight. Put a "Dashmat" on the dried out and discolored dashpad and replaced the broken cassette player with a aftermarket CD player that has a USB port so I can play my iPod. I do have some "steelies" for it to replace the damaged alloy wheels, but I'll put them on later on..I think I'll enjoy it like it is for now...
