You’re welcome. We’ve been going to a lot of cruises and shows lately looking for ideas for the 58.

 

Today we drove her down to the Museum of Transport car show. About 50-60 highway miles. The car now has 250-300 miles on the new engine.
It just gets better and better.

Thanks. We met up with the new owner of the blue 58 nomad. I knew his dad the original owner. We used to park our 58’s next to each other at cruises 35 years ago.
His was always perfect mine was always “under construction”
You can find his in Late Great Chevys from about 40 years ago.
Time goes by quickly…

I'm looking at your wagon, and waiting for the go pedal to be stomped, causing the rear end to hook up and launch said wagon into a suborbital trajectory. Or at least "jump the chocks."

 

As I drive it more I’m detecting a slight attitude in her demeanor…the Blue Flame 6 is not to be taken lightly…

Drove the Chevy to the Sonic drive -in cruise night. There are usually around 200 cars there every Friday. Our car was well received.
