Yesterday I took apart two carbs to make one good one to put in the ol 72 ranch wagon, got them soaking in a Pine-Sol solution. I've seen it done a few times on YouTube, and it appears to be working pretty well. Anyone else used this method before?

I'm not sure what I'd hate more: carb cleaner or Pine-Sol. I guess if you keep your work area well-ventilated, it won't matter that much. But either one beats Berryman's for not smelling the stankiest.

Saturday morning we took the ‘58 down the street to the butcher shop then back into Florissant to the produce stand so it has earned the grocery getter name.
We ended up going to the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show Saturday afternoon. While waiting for the Blue Angels we got to see and greet the the guy who’s running across the United States. We ended up driving it about 6 hrs.
Sunday was cleaning inside, outside, under the hood and about 2 hrs. drive time.
A guy from a subdivision nearby stopped in to look at the car. He has a 65 Galaxie 500.
Today was fixing a couple of lighting issues and foil insulation on the front floorboards.
Making progress and it’s driving nicely.

    I agree!
Great to hear that you're using it the way the Good Lord intended.

*note: the ignition switch is a little worn so it doesn’t need a key.

More rust removal, more cutting and grinding, more metal fab, more welding.
