You mean "Welcome *back* to the Colony Park Club!" If you don't already know, I had an '83 CP a couple decades ago. And I hope to be able to keep this one a lot longer than the four years I had the '83.

I remember those windshields. They were called "instaclear" and had a bit of an orange tint to them

And an orange ring around it. Those were cool. I had an uncle with an ‘89 Grand Marquis with that windshield option. The car was burgundy, so that pinkish window looked great with the car color. Lol

Well, I live in Texas, of course, and perhaps last February I might've needed it, but this month, we had our Arctic shot, and I had no need to drive, so it wasn't needed. I'm not sure if I'll restore that option or not; when the windshield was replaced, the pigtail was cut. I know the glass end was a special design, and so far, I have not seen a single Panther with that option, so if I can't replace it, I won't replace the glass either.

I washed this one and warmed up the old one. I think we were back into the 50’s as far as temperature goes. C2814E63-139F-4F8E-8E04-9866FA764831.jpeg

I finally picked up an Offenhauser 5416 4 barrel intake :bananaman:for my 230 inline 6.

I now have my Holley 390 carb, split exhaust manifolds (12 bolt.com), and my Offenhauser intake, so it looks like I need to test fit them and decide how to paint/coat them and then final install. I also need to get a gasket and get the new valve cover and side covers ready for paint/coating also. I want to install everything all at once.

Boy, was I wrong. And this second shot had almost constant wind chill. I know. I spent three hours chasing truck parts Friday afternoon. At least the winds had died down by yesterday morning, when I chased more truck parts. Here's to a righteous Texas spring, starting today.

It took me most of the day to figure out the “UNIVERSAL MESS” of the parts and pieces that came with the Indy 3 speed but finally have that installed. My next project was to clean the fuel tank but decided to buy a new one instead so now she sits again.
