    That was a pretty stout motor in '96. Vortec heads definitely help. If I ever get a 91/92 Custom Cruiser with an L03 I would build it up based on the '96 L30.

    It'll get me by for now. I used to watch this car when I was a little kid (5-11 years old) race the Clash of the Titans outlaw street car events, this wagon was notorious for dragging the bumper and running in the mid 9 second range. Still cant believe I have the same car 10 years later. The new motor will be 406ci, looking to make 575-600hp N/A. Later down the line, maybe install an F-2 procharger.

    Took Lil'Sis to work the other day. Cruising the highway when all of a sudden she got a little beefy, throaty sounding. :grumpy: I'm thinking I got a whole in the muffler or something like that. I parked her for a day then took her out today, just a short trip around town...man it sounds cool...:bouncy:

    Ahhh let me say this "I hate the shits" love is so passé. For example "I LOVED it yesterday when I ate ALL the hot pepperoni's" but today not so much!
