Pulled the Garret turbo on the Mercedes and have it on the work bench for a rebuild just need to order the parts. Been thinking of getting a quick spool turbine for it, all of which means I now have to stop procrastinating and order the parts. . I'll post up the rebuild and pics later.

Drove it like I stole it. Treated gas with seafoam and lucas ethanol treatment . Don't know how many more nice days left before collecting dust till spring. Only caught rubber in 3 of the 4 gears.

IMG_9602.JPG I swapped 2 wheels over. What's everyone think? It needs taller tires on the rims if I use them

Actually, that looks better for a "nowadays" look, whereas the current tires and wheels give it a more '80s vibe.

A change of size from 235 to 245 will only give you 10 more millimeters in height with the same aspect. What's the size of the Radial T/As?

I have decided to sell both sets of wheels and tires and I am going to go a completely different route now.

I noticed the Funk's G Hybrid on the side of the building. I was in the same Boy Scout Council as 2 of the brothers (55 years ago) and used to see them at summer camp and OA functions. I seem to recall that they lived a bit north of Hoopston.
