New rear leafs installed, Moog 586 in front, Monroe shocks, wheels rebalanced and realigned so she drives perfect again.
No more rubbing or squealing, front has dropped 1 inch so a slight rake and I love that stance:)
Currently working on a Retrosound Model 2 install with 6 Kicker speakers.

Going to be working on both our old dark cherry 96 rodie and my son's 96 rodie. The first one is going to get a fuel tank electrical issue handled (fuel gauge reads wacky). Then we need to on my son's car deal with a load leveling switch that will not shut off and over fills the air shocks (blew the bladder out on one set already). We have disconnected the system so the pump doesn't get damaged.

Added oil and set tire pressure to 35/36 cold then drove out to a church picnic, which was nice.

Installed a CD player under the dash so I could have some tunes. So glad someone didn't hack the dash apart before I got it. It has an aftermarket cassette deck in it but it doesnt work. But Atleast it was an old school style so nothing was chopped out of the dash

Just vacuumed down the a/c and verified it was a "tight" leak free system. Recharged it with R134a and it cools to a mere 45 degrees. Just the coldest A/C system I have ever had. I don't plan on driving my truck again until the weather makes me put the wagon away

I haven't done much lately... I gave it a good bath last night for the first time in awhile and cleaned some on the wood-grain today and drove to the local cruise-in, so it was about a 70 mile drive today down there and back. It was quite a turn out tonight.

I gave Lil Sis a bubble bath this evening, I'm planning to put her in a small car show tomorrow. First time I've every entered a car show, hope I don't get to many questions, I don't know to much about her mechancially.
How important is it that the engine bonnet be open? I think the car looks so much better with it closed and there is nothing special, nothing shiny under there. I'm looking forward to it, hope to have fun. :)

If the engine compartment and the underside of the hood (bonnet) is spotless, having it open is just as good as having the doors and rear hatch open...it showcases the cleanliness. Pics are required, of course.

It's not spotless under there. :( There had been an oil pan leak which has blown up and around the engine compartment, not so much over the engine, but it's messy down low. I tried to clean it off and it looks better but not showroom.

I'm not to worried. I'm looking forward to having fun and to see how she is excepted. She's just basic, original...nothing added.
Thanks for the reply. Have a great day.
    :)
