    Thanks!

I dynoed it so I could get a torque converter made. I will let them decide the stall. I would guess around 2000ish.

    It has a Turbo 400.

It has a 12 bolt with a one-legger diff. It has 3:08 gears. I am going to leave it like that until something breaks, then build a 9-inch for it.

I was able to get my rear window and tailgate open, I didn't find any treasures in the trunk well, other than 2 mouse hotels. I am looking at all the parts I need to upgrade my brakes. Looking at ways to remove the surface rust from my roof.

Fixed an engine oil leak. It was seeping between the oil pan and timing cover.
No more little spots on the driveway and garage floor!

I keep hearing that dirty word SNOW. Now I had to look at it in the picture. At least the wagon is white and it blends in! Snow is illegal here in Florida.:clap:And I'm voting we keep it that way.

Been doing a lot of hauling with mine lately. I've gotten into a little antique-dealing, instead of just collecting, on the side. I put a hundred miles or more on today, and traveled three counties, picking up stuff for resale and running it all around.

Also been getting some positive press on the old girl, too. One guy I was picking some stuff up for told me how much he loves the car and that he's glad to see one on the road, especially in such good shape. I was at a party tonight, and my friend's pa was hosting. He said to me "I was walking down the road and saw that old woodie paneled wagon sitting in front of my house and said to the Mrs. 'That's gotta be ol' Tommy's car!'"

Detailing my interior, thinking of installing a slot car or train set on top of the the dash.:)
The thing is huge, all you see is the dash reflected in the windshield when you drive the car unless you wear polarized shades.
I was looking at old recall info and there was a service bulletin sent to the dealers about the problem, had lots of complaints. What the remedy was I don't know?, maybe those carpeted dash covers you see on a lot of them?

    Lil Red Wagon

We call the 55 Chevy the Lil Red Wagon even though it is partially white. Finally she lives again! As I sit inside lookin like Popeye, son has been home babysitting me and driving me places. :dancing:He also decided to get back to work doing things he began 1 1/2 years ago. Got most of the new wiring harness in. New Dakota Digital dash and cruise control---all but the switch arm. Wrong one. Dakota Digital is a great company to buy from. Been like I said 1 1/2 years since buying the kits. Son called and when he sends the wrong cruise blinker lever in they will replace with correct one. :D Partially has new wiper system in. Also has Vintage AC/heat in, all but having hose ends crimped. $3 each at NAPA!:dancing: Replaced sticking thermostat and added a carb lever for proper 2004R movement. ;) Now he is adding about a millon LED lites everywhere. I don't think these will improve performance or fuel mileage but he loves doing those things! (It had the old style neons all around but living on limerock road was not such a great idea for those) So now, I feel better, son feels better, and I think I saw the wagon smiling when he turned on the headlites!:2_thumbs_up_-_anima

just replaced original water pump 2 weeks ago and last Thur noticed water under car (small puddle) crawled under and and its the freeze plug leaking
i guess with new pump and new cap more pressure.
pulled engine this weekend and all plugs in block are bad .
tore motor down and going to rebuild this week only machine work needed are block bore 30 over and valve job crank/rod bearings worn but crank ok
so for a 47000 mile 41 year old motor not to bad of shape
