    I didn't watch Kojack when it was on the first time and don't watch it now, but the photos seem to show it was shot in both NYC and the Universal backlot.

    In the airport scene above...gee, I don't recall any mountains anywhere near NYC...:)
    BTW: was Standard fuel even sold in NY or was it American or some other related brand?

    I'll see if I can snap a pic of it, but there's a sedan version of that Rambulator wagon around the corner from my house in fairly decent condition. The Chero's also very cool.

    And as for the Kojak 'backlot' shots, that's correct, because the two ambulances were also used in the show "Emergency!"
