    I think there are only a few not destroyed by GM. Someone restored one lately.
    The driver sits so high I'll bet it would be scary going under an overpass.

    Peter Pan Bus Lines in Springfield MA owns one. I believe that there are more still in existence than many people think. You just don't see them all together, since they are scattered across the country.

    Here is a picture from the driver seat. It's definitely waaaay up there. I got to sit behind the wheel of one a few years back. You've got to climb stairs to get up there.

    I've noticed in the older photos of 30's - 40's cars, especially at races, people are often sitting and standing all over them with heels, boots, and other things on.
    And quite often family photos are of women and kids with shoes on posing.
    No wonder there are so few nice old cars with original paint left.

    I was thinkin more along the lines of "That's when vehicles had TRUNKS and were STRONG ENOUGH to hold the weight without bucklin like a tin can"!!!:tiphat:
