Wagons in vintage Street scenes

I have to say something about this very famous resort.
It was owned by Frank Sinatra when that pic was taken. All his "Rat Pack" buddies had rooms ready for them should they show up. Frank even kept a room ready for Marilyn Monroe when she tired of the Hollywood scene, and her dog "Maf" was also welcome.
Since it was Frank who gave it to her...

North shore of Lake Tahoe. Drove by it a few years ago......Looks a bit different now, but that A-frame center building is still there.

I love this photo. Like so many things these days Mainstreet Christmas decorations seem cheap and gimmicky. Not like the old days.

 

Wheaton, IL - late 40s

 

Not a wagon, but not everyday you see a Kaiser Manhattan, especially in the snow. My father-in-law has one sitting in his shop that was his fathers.
