I went to this Expo when I was 9 years old; the Expo grounds were, for the most part, on Havermale Island in the middle of the Spokane River at the Falls. The clock tower is the only remaining part of the old Great Northern passenger depot, to where all the track and the majority of the depot were demolished to make way for the Expo. Now, the grounds are a city park, and the sky ride over the falls is still in place, and may still be operating.

Lots of cool stuff in this pic........
    - Not one, but two early Valiant sedans
    - A ('51?) Nash Rambler hardtop
    - A '61 Olds 98 Holiday Sedan
    - A Fiat 600, 60's vintage
    - Not to mention the three Fords and a Chevy...

I always like to post parking lot photos or streets with a lot of cars.

Already begun the search for a Corvair wagon/Lakewood. The last one we owned was a white on red '62 powerglide coupe 40 years ago. Might have to make the new one static or bag it.

    A little background.....

Bill Bader Chevrolet was in Fontana, Ca. Bill Bader bought this dealership sometime in the mid 50's, I believe. Sometime later, he sold it, and in 1968 he purchased Jack Coyle Chevrolet in San Bernardino, and renamed it Crest Chevrolet. I new dealership was built in the early 80's in Ontario, about 15 miles west. That dealership is still in business, operated by his two sons. Mr. Bader passed away in 2009.

In the 1990's, Crest Chevrolet was one of my stops as a claims analyst in my insurance claims job.
