Wow, two 69 Camaros destroyed together.
Having grown up in this area, I'm going to guess this is 1972. A couple cars in the photo look newer than '69 anyway. When Hurricane Agnes hit the Washington, DC area, the dam at Lake Barcroft failed, flooding the Holmes Run area of Arlington just down stream from the dam. The dam itself actually had little damage. The problem was that the earth at one end of the dam got washed away, so the lake drained around the dam. I lived in the Lake Barcroft neighborhood growing up, so I remember a couple years when there was no lake for boating, swimming and fishing, and I remember seeing the houses with their basement walls exposed when their back yards washed away around the dam.

Definitely a shame about the Camaros. I've only experienced the excess rain from hurricanes, and not the hurricanes themselves. I don't know Arlington well, either.

Post 12842 I wondered about those photos. Thanks. Almost looked like old cars used as fill which really didn't make sense there. Earthquakes, Tornados, Hurricanes, and floods have destroyed many vehicles. Almost as many as NY winters!

Los Angeles International Airport, mid 1950's (best guess)

The road is Sepulveda Bl., and passes under the 2 south runways. The two planes are on the taxiways. The wagon in the far lanes is going south. This tunnel is still in use today.

LA Airport (again, probably a re-post)

This view is looking east. The tunnel in the above photo is just a bit beyond the Chevron sign, and off to the right.

Yeah, but who is keeping track? And you added a little info to the photo.
