Wagons in vintage Street scenes

I keep waiting for copper-colored cars to make a comeback. The color looks good on almost anything....real good. There have been a couple of false starts recently - the Nissan Murano had a copper color when it first came out - very popular. Woody wagons always look good with the color. Witness Dr. B's CS or CMPRSD's Fairlane Squire......

 

pics 1244 dodges with tu-tone painted rims?

Was this tu tone painted rims as shown on the transport truck done on the 57-58 dodge models or just some? I assume it used a poverty cap.. Pic 1244 page 125

 

Yeah - that seems odd. My guess is that full wheel covers would be going on those cars. Rims picked out were the darker color, then they sprayed the white, which would show on the outer 1/2" when the wheel covers are on.

 

This one kinda annoys me. Why put the name over the car!? Jeeze...
Anyway. Still a cool pic.
