I probably would've ordered this package if I wanted a fastback Mustang back in '70.

That would be Charlene Wood above, in 1976. Her husband "Gary" prepared the beast..........

While it's not a wagon.... my two cents about the Grabber is that one of the baby-sitters of my youth owned one of these Mustangs.
But it was White with a red interior. For a long time I though it was a BOSS, but the narrow wheels and hub caps had me fooled till I learned about the "Grabber cars". Her's was 302 equipped and had a 4-speed with the Hurst shifter. Anne-Marie would let me shift when she hit the clutch and I loved that huge shift knob.
Cool lady who went on to work for the CIA in Washington and moved back to Oregon after retiring.
We still keep in touch and she still laments selling that car!

    Bronx Shots, 1960s

A reader sent in these lovely shots of "the Vanished Bronx in 1967-68." She writes, "The photographer's name is Steve Rowles. He was just a student, walking around with his camera." Today Mr. Rowles is a violin and guitar maker, who makes beautiful one-of-a-kind instruments.

The photographer describes this first shot: "You've just gotten off the train at the Burnside Avenue stop on the Lex Jerome #4 IRT, and you're looking right, to the east, before going down the steps from the El to the street."

A guy named Jeremiah hosts this site. It's not me. Turns out there are at least three Jeremiah's out there that I now know of...

Those gas prices are getting rediculous. People are not going to be able to afford to drive if this keeps up! Who wants to pay 4 cents more for that premium stuff? :banghead3:

Jeez - who can afford to fill up their wagon for almost 6 bucks every time? Outrageous!
