Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Folk art or blasphemy?

I wasn't sure where to add this pic, but it's sort of a vintage scene...This is a Datsun 510 wagon that was mounted on the wall of out local old fashioned auto parts store (remember those?). It was originally orange and has been up there about 20 years now. 510 guys would probably cringe if they saw it...

 

I had a 510 wagon that color in the early '70s I used for a work truck .

 

When I see something like that, I think, "How is that attached to the wall?" That's quite a bit of cantilevered weight sticking out.

 

Yeah, I don't know how they did it, but it's been there for two decades and even outlasted the original orange paint. I'm really surprised that the store is still there too, note the Advance Auto sign down the street and there's an Auto Zone and O'Reilly's next to that...

Have you been inside it? Was just curious if its the whole car there and the rest is inside?
