Think about it, Russia 1965, you just spent the entire day standing in line for a loaf of bread (because you can only get bread on Wednesday, toilet paper is Fridays line) and as you walking back to your Volga ( if your 1 in 1000 who are lucky enough to have a car that mite start/drive ) you walk past this ..................

........ You would be completely dumbfounded!

..... And then the propaganda in the news would tell you how much better conditions are in the CCCP/USSR

 

Now for something I'm familiar with, the Augusta, GA riot of 1970. Downtown Augusta was set on fire, and people began "rocking" people's vehicles. I was in high school in the neighboring town of Hephzibah.
