    While I appreciate the picture, and I can also appreciate the Opel Kadett that the 88-93 Lemans sprang from, I believe you are probably in a very small group that can Appreciate those poor mans Opel.

    Interesting. The issue is about '59's and two of the cars shown are '58's.

    Correction... all the wagons are '58's.

    That is because the magazine is dated August 1958, and it was in the magazine subscribers hand in July 1958, since that is how magazine subscriptions were handled, both then and now. The car manufacturers wouldn't allow pictures to be posted prior to introduction day, which was usually the first or second week of September. Back then, almost all the new models were delivered at night, and were covered with cloth car covers when they left the factory to keep them out of the public view. Introduction day was a big event, and the showrooms were filled with customers wanting to see the new models in person.
